There are several templates available to add an image to a slide in your Course.

In this article we're going to show you all the different options to add an image slide to your Course. There are three options we'd like to show you.

All the options can be reviewed live in a Course that we created to illustrate them.

The image that was used is a 1280 x 800 pixels JPEG file with this awesome mountain view:

Option 1. Background image

This will generate a full screen image configured as a background of the title slide. The background will automatically be darkened to fit the coloration of the text:

You can follow these steps to set it up:

Go to the Slides section of your Course.
Click Add slide and select Content.
Enter the title and upload your image.
Click Save.

Option 2. Image element

This will generate a slide with a scaled image which will, depending on the chosen image position, be scaled and positioned in the middle of the slide:

You can follow these steps to set it up:

Go to the Slides section of your Course.
Click Add slide and select Content.
Enter the title and Save.
Click Add element and select Image.
Upload your image and choose any Image position.
Click Save.

Option 3. Breakout image

This will generate a slide with a white header with the slide's title. The image will be displayed in full width below. Since it is also possible to add text on the image, the image will automatically be darkened to fit the coloration of the text:

You can follow these steps to set it up:

Go to the Slides section of your Course.
Click Add slide and select Content.
Enter the title and Save.
Click Add element and select Breakout image.
Upload your image and choose any Image position.
Click Save.

Enjoy creating your own beautiful slides for your Courses!
