You might have accidentally misspelled a participant's name, or received incorrect information. When you write someone's name incorrectly it will also appear incorrectly on that person's certificate, for both the Course and Exam formats. 

Don't worry, it's simple enough to fix!

Manage participants

Go to Dashboard > Settings > Participant data:

This opens the Manage participants page, where you'll find a list of all participants that you can filter by name and email address. 

From the Manage participants page you can click on the edit icon next to the participant you wish to edit, alter their details in the pop-up, and then hit Save:


Within an Exam you can also edit someone's name and email address from the Access tab, provided that you use A predefined group of participants, otherwise you'll need to change that setting first. Or wait until the results come in, and change the details on the Results tab. Just click on the three gray dots (More actions icon) to the right of the user and select Edit participant


From the Academy dashboard you can also edit participants in the same way from either the Participant overview page, or the Group participants page.

It doesn't matter where you choose to edit your participant details, they will be updated throughout the system! Also, you won't be able to change the email address to an address already in use by a different participant.
