Help your participants save time and access Easy LMS from a single account. You can configure Azure AD for the Academy portal. Here's how!

Single sign-on is available with the Enterprise Owl plan. At this time, the previous Academy interface supports SSO. Please contact support@easy-lms.com to be placed on the interface that supports SSO.

Step 1. Create an app for Easy LMS

Log in to Microsoft Azure AD.
Navigate to the Azure Active Directory under Services:



In active directory go to Overview > App registrations page.

On this page select the + New registration button:



Enter the following information:

Name: You can enter a name that suits you. Easy-LMS can used for example.
Supported account types: this information depends on what you need to achieve. It selects who is able to login to your academy.
Redirect URI: you need to chose as type web. For the Academy you need to fill in the url of the Academy appended with β€œ/login”. So, if your academy is located at β€œhttps://www.easy-lms.com/my-azure-academy” then the URI should be https://www.easy-lms.com/my-azure-academy:



Step 2. Configure the SSO settings in Easy LMS

In Easy LMS, go to My account > Advanced setup > Single sign-on. Select the Azure / Okta / Auth0 tab:



Fill in the following information:

title: Azure AD
provider_url: fill in https://login.microsoftonline.com/Your Directory id/v2.0/.
client_id: this field corresponds to the Application (client) id field in Azure AD.
client_secret: go to Certificate & secrets in Azure AD and select + New client secret. Add it to Easy LMS under client_secret.



When the fields are filled, remember to hit Save!

If the Personal Microsoft accounts only option is chosen the provider_url is different than for the other options. The provider_url in Easy LMS should be: https://login.microsoftonline.com/consumers/v2.0/

Step 3. Change the login method for the Academy

In Easy LMS, go to Academy > Settings. The Login method for Academy should be set to Single sign-on through OpenID Connect.

If this setting is missing from your account, it means you are on the new interface. Contact support@easy-lms.com to be switched over to the version that supports SSO.



Step 4. Verify the settings

Go to the Academy and see whether you are required to log in using Azure AD. Everything has been successfully set up when that works!
