Sometimes you may want to edit the details of your participants. Here's how that can be done.

There are two options to change name or email of a participant:

In the Results section
When you use the invite-only feature (a predefined group of participants)

Editing the name in the Results section

In the Results section you see the list of the participants who took your Exam. 

If you only ask for the name you can edit the participant using the three dots and then click on the Edit participant:



It's possible to change the name of the participant. Just enter the new details, and click Save:



Your settings will be saved throughout the system.

If you ask for both name and email address it works similarly. Click on the three dots and then on edit participant.

It's possible to change the name and the email address of the participant. Just enter the new details, and click Save:



Your changes will be applied throughout the system.

You can't change the email address to the email address of an already existing participant.

When you use the invite-only feature (a predefined group of participants)

If you are using the invite only or participant import feature of our Exams, you may want to edit or change participant info in our database.

Check this article to see how you can use the invite-only feature for Exams. Editing a participant is very simple.

Go to the Access tab of your exam, or the Results tab, and scroll down the page to see the list of participants. Click on the three dots next to the name of the participant you want to edit: 



Now, click Edit participant:



It's possible to change the name and the email address of the participant. Just enter the new details, and click Save:



Your changes will be applied throughout the system.
