You can see a history of activity for each individual participant when you have Access set to A predefined group of participants. 

Participant activity log

In your Exam, go to Access > Settings > A predefined group of participants > More options > Activity log:

The Activity log looks like this:

The first column shows each action that has been taken, and the second column shows the date and time that each action occurred.

The following activities will be logged:

Invitation email queued
Invitation email sent
Reminder email queued
Invitation email sent
Exam started
Exam finished
Result email sent
Certificate email sent

This feature was introduced on July 4th, 2018, so any actions before that date won't be included in the log!
